Happy 2nd Birthday Doll face!

Sweet Molly!

It is true what everyone says, time flies when you are having fun.  I feel like it was yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital. Now you are sweet, funny and sassy 2 year old. You have always had very strong opinions and lately it has been challenging for your daddy and I but I'm happy that you aren't a pushover. You are still very kind and gentle especially with other babies. You bring them bottles and blankies to make sure they are happy. You share your toys well and are patient when others do not and are easy to welcome new friends into your group at daycare.

You are a very loving toddler. Top on your list are your cousin Liam and Hank the cat. You love them to pieces and would take them everywhere you go if you could! You say Please, Thank you and You're Welcome, although not always in the right order. You know when you are being funny and enjoy the attention and ham it up even more when you get a laugh.

Your vocabulary is expanding everyday and you seem to want to have deep conversations with us. Looking right at us and explaining some story that is very detailed but we can't understand the majority of what you are saying! It is very charming either way. You love singing nursery rhymes and call out Spider! Row Boat! Round Round! when you want us to join in.

You still love to read books and will bring book after book over to me and daddy to read to you. You have most of your favorites memorized and read along with us now. Your favorites are still the talking books from Grammy Jane and Great Aunt Amy. You light up when you hear their voices and want to read them over and over.

Everyone knows your obsession with Yo Gabba Gabba. It is like magic when you are having a rough day. Lately though you have also been in love with Elmo and demand that we watch Elmo videos on the computer because Sesame Street doesn't have enough of just him.

You have become a hoarder of stuffed animals and baby dolls. There is barely enough room in your crib for you every night. You take attendance before you fall asleep and make sure everyone is accounted for. Baby, Tiny, Cat, Scout, Glowy...  and some of them even have to go with you to daycare everyday.

You have become a terrible eater in your 2nd year. You mainly survive on Milk, cheese and strawberries.  Daddy and I have to chant "Big Girl Bite!" over and over until you finally eat something. At least you are still growing.

We are so proud of you and love you to bits, little quirks and all!

Here is a little video montage of your 2nd year...  Love YOU!
