One year ago today...

We were in the hosptial. I had been given an epidural which basically stopped any progression I was having.

So we waited and waited and waited...

Total shift changes of nurses came in and out all day and into the night...

10pm was the first time a nurse asked me if we knew how big the baby was going to be? I said no why? She looked at Matt then at Me and said, she might be too big...  thanks nurse.

I fell asleep and woke up at 1am with another nurse in our room. The baby's heartbeat was dropping everytime I had a contraction. They had me flipping from one side to another every half an hour. super fun.

3am the Dr on call said since my progression had stopped and the baby's heartbeat kept dropping she advised a C-section right away.

3:30am My mom and sister were just getting settled a our house after their long drive. I called them and told them to get back up and come right to the hospital.

4am we were getting prepped for the c-section and I saw a glimpse of my mom & sister as I was being wheeled into OR...
