It was Saturday April 3rd, My orginal Due Date. Also known as Granny & Pa's Wedding Anniversary, my BFF Heidi's Birthday and the anniversary of the day we adopted Hank 6 years earlier! Already a big day in my book...
It was beautiful out. Warm and Sunny.
Matt and I needed to run a bunch of errands and I suggested taking his Jeep. I had not been able to get into the Jeep for the last few weeks because I could no longer lift my leg that high. But I though a little jossling around might help wiggle that baby loose... Matt took that a little too far and drove right over a curb in one of the parking lots, just because he could. nice. I distinctly remember telling him, well now you've done it. She for sure is going to fall out now!
I also remember getting lots of looks from people as we walked through some of the stores. Like whoa!
When we got home from shopping, our personal Baby Gap shopper Meredith came over and had about 20 different summer outfits for the baby for us to choose from. We picked out some super cute stuff!!
Later that night we settled in to watch Michigan State take on Butler in the Final Four. It was a very close & exciting game. I remember getting calls and texts from people asking if it put me into labor.
MSU lost and we went to bed a little sad but still not expecting anything babywise...
