This morning we got to sleep in a little more than usual since we took the day off and it was good because all 3 of us were wiped out from our trip.
We eventually got up and went for a late breakfast at our favorite The Original Pancake House. They gave Molly a "Birthday Muffin" with a candle and we sang to her.
Afterwards we decided to take Molly for her first visit to the Minnesota Zoo.
It was extra nice to spend the afternoon outside & feel the sunshine on our faces after being cooped up all winter. The animals were all out sunbathing as well.
Molly saw Grizzly Bears, Linx, Camels, Otters and Sharks just to name a few. They have a baby farm animal section where she saw kid goats, baby bunnies, baby chicks, piglets and calfs. She got nipped at by a chicken when she stuck her finger in its cage! It didn't touch her but scared the crap out of her. haha.
Later we met Grandma Becky & Grandpa Wes, Auntie Alison, Uncle Dennis & Cousin Liam for dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant where we celebrated some more! Molly and Liam are being very cute together. They share food and hugs and smile at each other a lot.
I think Molly had a lot of fun today. I know we did!
