We decided to take a quick trip out to the lake to visit Pops and Cici for the weekend. We really needed a relaxing few days to just hang out and enjoy the nice weather. Molly did really well on the road trip. She was so excited to get to the lake and get out on the new boat that she only slept for 20 minutes out of the 9 hours we were on the road. She ate lots of snacks and watched many episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba and Elmo's World and was generally content the whole way.
We were surprised by also getting visits from Allison, Jeremy, Tim and Elizabeth while we were there! We had a blast having all the family together. These visits are too far and few between! We need more of them. Tim also now holds the record for longest hug from Molly (sorry Meredith). When she saw him she hugged him for what seemed like a full 5 minutes. He is like baby magic.
And a big thanks to Pops and Cici for not kicking us out when we all showed up with colds and coughing and hacking all over the house. We appreciated being taken care of for a few days.
