Thanksgiving 2012 Part 2

Molly had a jam packed Thanksgiving weekend of fun when we were in Michigan. She ate a delicious breakfast and went to a super cool park that Auntie Allison found with Pops and Cici. We went shopping at Scout to see our favorite shop owner Pam. Molly may or may not have tried to slide some merchandise by sweet Pam. She now resides on the wall of shame. haha. Cutest one on the wall though!  We drove through the Hines Drive Lightfest which was not quite as magical with no snow and Molly slept and missed the whole thing!
Saturday we met the Manning/Schmitt family for another delicious breakfast and then headed off to meet Liam at the Henry Ford to look at trains. I forgot how enormous that place is! We could have stayed there for hours and just let the kids run and run. They both are really in to Thomas the Train so they loved all the life size engines and the Lionel model train displays. They also had fun building with legos and writing their letters to Santa and oohing and ahhing at all the cool car displays. We were planning on going to see Santa there but right when we got in line he was going on a break. Molly was actually super disappointed which I wasn't expecting since she FREAKED out last year when we went to see him.
We capped off the afternoon by going to visit Matt's Grandma Whitelock in Trenton. The kids had a blast going through all of her treasures and visiting with her and Uncle Charlie. Then Molly got to spend a low key night with Grammy Jane watching the Little Mermaid while Matt and I enjoyed dinner and drinks with the cousins at One-Eyed Betty's

Like I said,  action. packed.

She loves the tire swing even when it is freezing out!

Hooray! Trains!

They both were skinny enough to try to slide through the fence. They wanted to play with those trains!
