Molly turned the big 21 months on Jan 5th and promptly got the stomach flu. I will spare you the details but I wish we had little vomit elves to come in and help clean up. After she got over that she got a bad cough & cold. Which caused more than a few meltdowns because she was feeling so icky. So we are just now starting to get back into our normal routines which is making for more peace in our house.
In the midst of all of this Molly transitioned from her high chair to a booster seat at the dining room table. She has been having a good time sitting like a big girl at the table and coloring or reading books too.
We still are getting early warning signs that the "terrible two's" are upon us. Molly has become the girl with many opinions. What jacket she wants to wear, what sippy cup she wants to use, if she wants to get dressed in the morning, what she wants to eat or snack on. Everything is a negotiation lately. And usually ends up with Molly planking on the floor in protest. Like this:

Only three short months until this little baby turns 2! I can't believe it. Besides the occasional "fits" she really is a good natured kid. She is still super friendly, she loves giving hugs and blowing kisses and is very nuturing to her many baby dolls. She gets good notes from school that she is welcoming to any new kids, shows them the ropes and shares toys really well.
