We finally got our Christmas decorations and lights up! Wahoo! It is definitely putting me in the spirit. Molly had a fun weekend too. Watched a little Gabba Gabba, chased Hank and danced like crazy. We tried the "pony" look out on her for the first time and she thought she was hot stuff. haha.
We got some of our first measurable snow overnight so Molly got to test out her new purple snowpants this morning. It was a battle to get her in them at first...
but once she got outside and into the sled she had a lot of fun.
Daddy & Molly testing out the small hill in the backyard
Moving on to the bigger hill in the front yard.
No joke Matt and I took turns pulling her up to the top of the hill and pushing her down no less than 50 times. She laughed the whole way down and kept saying Ready! When daddy was pushing her she got going super fast. She almost ran me over at the bottom of the hill a couple of times. When her little cheeks were getting pink we knew it was time to go in but she threw a big time tantrum when we tried to get her back in the house. At least we know she will be able to be entertained with some more outdoor activities this winter.
We also got our Christmas tree out of the box and put together which Molly helped with. She said "pretty" when we started pulling out the aluminum limbs.
I started to pull out the ornaments too and quickly realized that the majority of them are not toddler friendly. One got out and Molly accidentally stepped on it, so it was the first casualty of the season... poor girl...
We ended the weekend by going for a drive through the snow in one of our favorite neighborhoods and looking at the pretty Christmas lights. Of course Molly acts like it is summer and rips her hat, socks and boots off after less than 5 minutes in the car... ugh.
