Michigan Molly Part II

Hi there. Back again with the 2nd part of our Michigan trip.

Wednesday we got to meet Molly's new BFF Rose Huber. She is so adorable. Molly kept pointing at her and saying Baaabby! It was cute. I'm bummed I didn't think to get a picture of the two of them. Next time. Lauren has a really nice house that Molly couldn't stop exploring.

On Thursday Molly had a super fun trip to the Detroit zoo with Grammy Jane and Auntie Allison. She saw lots of animals and even learned how to "ooooh" and "aaaahhh" at them. It was pretty adorable. We had a really fun day. She also got to eat at our favorite Michigan restuarant, Olga's. Thank god she loves snackers as much as we do. hooray!

Friday Molly took a break and relaxed in the pool. She was a little nervous at first but she got used to it pretty quickly and had fun with her Daddy. Martha & Amy even stopped by for a nice visit. Molly and Martha had fun making funny faces at each other.

Saturday we had to head back to Minneapolis but we decided to take a detour in the Wisconsin Dells to break up the trip a little. Molly went on her first Duck Boat ride. For those of you who don't know they are these amphibious trucks from World War II that take you down through a forest and then out into the River and Lake Delton. I was a tad concerned that she was too small but there was a baby waaay younger than on the duck with us. There was a slight moment of terror for Molly when the driver started going fast through a windy part of the woods. Her eyes nearly bugged out of her head completely. poor baby. After that it was smooth sailing though and she had fun.

Molly and I got a lot of word practice in on the long car ride home. She has now added to her vocabulary:
Pops, Cracker, Up, Boat, Duck & Truck (all though those last two don't come out the best sounding... ) haha.
