I feel so far away from where I was this time last year. All that nervous excitement & anticipation building up but I couldn't have imagined it turning out any better. Molly is such a smiley, happy and funny 11 month old.
She cracks Matt and I up on a daily basis with her noises and facial expressions. We just love her to pieces.
What Molly is Loving:
Hugs! - Molly has been giving Matt and I and all of her toys (including the hard plastic ones) hugs lately. She especially loves her puppy Scout from Aunt Mitzi. She gets so excited when he sings to her, she will put her head down on his chest and smile.
Walking! Molly has been trying to take a few wobbly steps between Matt and I in the last week. The look on her face is priceless. Like what am I doing?!?!
Being Chased by Daddy! Molly loves to be chased around by Matt. She will look back just long enough to make sure he is still chasing her and laugh hysterically as she crawls all over trying to get away form him
Peak-a-boo! Throw anything over her face and yell Peak-a-boo and she will giggle. She even catches on and does it to her self.
Trying new Finger Foods! Molly's palette is already way better than mine. She is trying all sorts of foods and loving them. Egg Rolls, Pesto Pasta, Meatloaf, & Hummus to name a few. She grabs whole hand fulls and crams them in her mouth. And when she is full she flips her plate up in the air like, Done! which makes an awesome mess.
Making funny noises! Molly still quacks like a duck whenever she sees Hank but she has incorporated a whole bunch more funny noises that are hard to describe but make us crack up. Matt got her making a creaking sound with her throat the other day. I need to get them on video.
Playing with her hair! Yes, Hair! She has a few semi-long tendrils in back that she likes playing with usually while eating dinner which gets it nice and sticky. Good thing she loves baths!
