Molly had a nice 10 month birthday yesterday, making cupcakes with Auntie Meredith in the morning. In the afternoon Auntie Alison, Uncle Dennis and cousin Liam came over to catch up and play. We hadn't seen them much since Christmas because it seems between the 6 of us somebody is always sick. Molly was a little tentative at first with Liam but she soon warmed up and they played really well together. Liam enjoyed playing with all of Molly's toys, Molly liked taking them all back. Grandma and Grandpa Whitelock came over later to round out the party. We all had so much fun and agreed we need to get the babies together more often. I can't wait for Spring to get here so we can do some outdoor activities with them.
Molly's Current Fav's:
- Pretending to Talk on the phone - Molly has 2 toys that have play phones on them. We started putting them up to her ear and saying "Heeeelllooo!" Now she puts almost anything up to her ear like a phone. My favorite is when she grabs the TV remote and tries to talk on it. haha.
- Shaking her head No - I need to get a video of this because it is super funny and wild looking.
- Quacking like a Duck - Whenever she sees Hank she makes a duck noise. I think she is confused on what he really is...
- Waving - It is getting more controlled but still funny
- Her mini M&M container - Auntie Brenda is our hookup for candy and provided Molly with her favorite new toy. She takes this with her wherever she goes. It is funny to see her try to crawl with it in her hand.
Opening & Closing - she will open and shut her laptop cover hundreds of times, she also likes opening and shutting her bedroom door and her play kitchen cabinets at school.
- Carbs - Molly has started eating more table foods recently. Buttered toast, Bagel pieces, Grilled Cheese, Waffles - she loves them all.
Chipmunk Cheeks - we discovered after she started eating all the above food that she shovels it in her mouth really fast and then stores it in her cheeks for later...
-Climbing - Molly will use just about anything around her to climb up on so she can reach further. This means precariously balancing on toys, storage bins, wipe containers
- Pushing - we call her the little bulldozer, she will push her toys all over the floor and walk behind them knocking everything over in her path. watch out.
Molly is Not Loving:
Her nose getting wiped - she has had plenty of colds this winter and is sick of getting her nose wiped but if there is one thing i can't stand is a snotty nosed kid
Diaper changes - I don't think she will ever sit still for this. We need to start her potty training early
Being left alone in a room - She wants to be where you are at all times.

Molly is getting too close to being 1 year old....unbelievable!
The way the corners of the picture is rounded, it looks like she is wearing a cute little off-the-shoulder top! :)
